Welcome to an inclusive community of empowered business owners and entrepreneurs
Get Savvy is a place for you to connect, inspire and find motivation to achieve your dreams of starting that business or scaling your side hustle and go full time!
Last October, we held our first ever Get Savvy event welcoming over 100 women for a night of connection, inspiration and education. It was a successful night, raising over $3,000 for the Women’s Resilience Centre, which went towards their employability programs, providing upskilling and support to women re-entering the workforce.
That’s not all. We launched our Get Savvy Facebook Community with a growing number of participants, sharing insights, business tips and connecting.
October 2024 was only the beginning
We are planning big things over at Get Savvy! Yes, we are planning another event which will hit Sydney in 2026. We will be doing this one bigger and better. We sent out a feedback survey at the duration of our October event and captured some awesome information which we will be taking onboard and creating another event you won’t want to miss.
In the meantime, you can still connect with us and our wonderful community of business owners. You can sign up to our monthly newsletter where we shine a light on a small business, provide Savvy Tips, give you important updates about events being held within our community by other industry professionals, the Savvy Scoop where we want to stay on top of pain points and trends and nurturing our beautiful community of empowered men and women!
The team behind Get Savvy
We are a creative group of professionals that work for a Digital Marketing business, founded by Get Savvy’s host, Charlotte, called Brandid Media.
Brandid Media was the host of Get Savvy and is the magic behind it! We are a group of passionate entrepreneurs who support clients in the digital marketing space, from branding to website design, social media, content and everything in between.
Get Savvy is a place to support entrepreneurs like us and connect with business owners whilst growing this wonderful community. We have shared experience in event management which helps us tap into this environment. We are growing a powerful team and chasing our dreams every day. We want to create an environment where our community can do the same.
We were lucky to connect with over 100 women, over 40 businesses and support an amazing local organisation where we saw amazing value alignment, raising funds to support their programs.
Get Savvy is here to stay and evolve with our ever changing world. Jump onboard, it’s only going to get better.
Our amazing speakers
We were lucky enough to be joined by six inspiring and motivating speakers, making up our perfect lineup! We had everything from financial skills (individual and business focussed), self love workshops and boosting our confidence, battling ecommerce, managing ads and influencers, launching and exiting business and building your personal brand.
We were also joined by Simone Allan, from the Women’s Resilience Centre, who shared her story about domestic violence and how she founded the Centre. Her journey to get it to where it is today is extremely inspiring. You can read more about them by clicking below.
Monthly Event Calendar
There are so many amazing events organised and held in NSW (and nationwide) that are inline with what we are doing at Get Savvy, that we think you need to know about! These events are incredibly beneficial, especially if you have just started going out on your own and looking for new people in your network.
Every month, we research and collate events and send it to our mailing list so they know what’s on! Join our mailing list so you can receive this and many other fun bits of info!
WOMEN'S RESILIENCE CENTRE
Get Savvy is a proud partner of the Womens Resilience Centre, a local organisation that supports women and provides incredibly valuable programs. One of the goals of the Get Savvy event, is to raise money for the Womens Resilience Centre which will help them provide more programs and opportunities to a community of women who need it. We also want to bring awareness to their amazing cause and foster connections between them and the wider Northern Beaches community of business owners.
In addition to the allocation of $10 from every ticket sold, raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the night which will be donated directly to the Women’s Resilience Centre.
Show your support by securing your ticket to Get Savvy and make sure to chat with the amazing women from the Centre and purchase your raffle tickets on the night.
